Global Warming, It’s a Killer

Published by recycledfrockery at 12:00 am under RE Says, greening, world views Edit This

Coral Reefs

This massive Coral Growth is Hundreds of Years Old in the Coral Reefs of the Great Barrier Reef. the problem is It’s Stopped Growing.

Scientists are studying the water, coral, fish and weather in the Great Barrier Reef; quite intensely to determine what exactly is inhibiting the growth of gigantic corals, suddenly.

it’s being suggested that one cause could be the increase of Green House Gasses; a man made calamity. America’s Incoming President Barack Obama has pledged to do his part in helping to put a cap on Carbon Emissions and to Help Study and Ease Global Warming.  He’s said that He also plans to re-examine Americas’ participation in the Kyoto Accord on Global Warming.  That’s one of the smart factors that will push his popularity instantly around the globe. He Cares About Mother Nature and Our World.

These corals have lost approximately 13% of their measurable growth between 1990 and now. that’s a steep decline for a live sea creature, which feeds on the calcium that it absorbs; from the water around it. the calcium is being killed by the greenhouse gasses which heat up the oceans. Carbon Emissions are a chief cause of Green House Gasses.

If outgoing President George Bush didn’t realize how much damage he did to the environment - he will soon have this splotch boldly emblazoned on his presidential / environmental record; along with the rest of his tragedies. His lack of interest in a global warming policy; or investigation of the Carbon Issue; was very dangerous for us all.

It Appears that now our grandchildren will be paying for his flagrant lack of respect for Mother Nature and Our Environment.  George Bush is certainly no friend to the Earth.

Global Warming is Not A Joke People - and this upcoming week we’ll spend a few days discussing it, and the effects on our lives. we’ll include food, fashion, and health factors that many of us take for granted.  Skin Cancer is on the increase - so if we kill the corals, be sure that We Are Next.

Scary post. From what I’ve read, it seems that we may have left it too late to help the corals, a temperature rise of even a degree Celsius has destroyed many of them. I fear that it may be too late for us, even if everyone woke up tomorrow and realised how serious and precarious our situation is… would it be enough?
