How Much do You Know about American History ?

Who are these two Americans who helped save the life of George Washington

1. Phoebe Francis - prevented George Washington from being Poisoned;
2. James Forten - one of the first Americans to become rich from tent-making;

also while we’re at it, how much do you know about Benjamin Banneker; or Louis Lattimer ? more than you think you do, just unfortunately it’s known as miscellaneous American history, Not Black History.

We Believe that history was slanted mostly due to Institutionalized Racism in America. the fact is, Black inventors weren’t usually publicized with their inventions; the way the whites who marketed them were.

The best example of that is Louis Lattimer; a great Black Scientist and  Inventor. While working with Edison in his Lab, Lattimer invented the Filament that provides the ability for a light-bulb to light indefinantly. Edison Patented the Light-bulb, leaving Lattimer out basically. as well did you know Lattimer invented all the moving and vital parts of the very first Telephone. so why is alexander graham bell known as the inventor of the telephone ? BTW, did you realize that the inventor of the Cellphone - Dr. Martin Cooper; is also a Black inventor ?
