Hawaii gave us Sunshine, now Lets Blog About It

It’s Time for a Bloggggg Carnival ! it’s almost Black History Month and We Want You to Celebrate With US !

this is such a very unusual time in history. we have a new president, he’s the first Hawaiian President in history.
President Obama and Daughter Malia in Hawaii
Yeah, can you imagine, Hawaii has a President. such luck.

a while ago we had Gerald Ford from Grand Rapids MI; as the MI Representative. we all remember how he tripped, and had all kinds of minor accidents - which got him labeled in the news media. when he died, some felt his reputation was redeemed because the news media was forced to recognize his good as well as rough spots, during his presidency.

Folks keep telling me that President Obama is coming to Washington from Illinois; I know, I know, but hey He’s Hawaiian. I Love Hawaii, and I also Love our New Prez so what better than to have the two in focus at once. Yep.

The Economy is in such a dark and dismal place; but I belive that our new president will be bringing the Sunshine Soon. we want you to help us to point it out, as you see it..

this year we’ve partnered with our Sister Blog at BadGalsRadio to get you involved in history. check out the page at the top of our site, on the Black History Month Blog Carnival - and make sure you submit your blog today. it’s going on until March 1, 2009 - so you have 29 days; to make history this year.

Everybody Loves the Sunshine so I’ll See you at the Carnival - MAHALO !

Today “We Are The Dream” - Happy Martin Luther Kings Birthday

Dr King’s Reach is Far and Wide

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr

take a look at this Video from YouTube on the Legacy of What Dr King Means To These Folks. This is unbelievable. it brings tears to my eyes. they are all part of the Same Thought working toward the same Dream. this is something that demonstrates the life of an idea - and it’s viral nature. throughout generations; still growing today.

Yes They All Have a Dream, and So Do WE.

Barack Obama said when he was campaigning for office that his run for President was all about equalizing the United States Political situation today. he’s said on many occassions that he wants his daughters to have the same chance as someone’s sons. that is why we know the dream is alive and in full effect today.  Dr King Preached about Equality, and Change. It Was His Theme -Always.

on January 20th when our 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama is sworn into office - this will be another demonstration of Dr. Kings’ Dream.  Change is what we need to Keep his dream alive - so won’t you join us, and take the step forward.

It’s Time for Change and The Dream to Become Reality

Happy 80th Birthday Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Because Today  “We Are The Dream”
